The 2010 Spirit Award Winners, both taking home $2,000 from Lockheed Martin to further their Science Olympiad programs, were Windy Ridge MS from Florida in Division B and River Hills HS from Maryland in Division C.
We hope you enjoyed an amazing experience at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on May 20-22, 2010. One hundred and twenty of the nation's most outstanding Science Olympiad 15-member teams from 48 states competed in more than 50 events spanning the sciences, from chemistry, biology and physics to engineering, computers and astronomy. Thanks to everyone on the U of I staff and all the National Tournament Committee members who made this event possible.
