Welcome to Anatomy & Physiology! In this event, participants will be assessed on their understanding of the anatomy and physiology for the respiratory, digestive and immune systems of the human body.
The information below should not be interpreted as an extension of the rules. You can find free online copies of the current rules for download on the 2027 Rules page of the Science Olympiad website. The official rules in the current Rules Manual take precedence.
Teach Me Anatomy - Anatomical Planes - a good resource for understanding how the human body is divided so that the different organs and anatomical structures can be located and studied.
EKG Presentation - This presentation, given at the University of North Carolina Medical School in 2020, may help students better understand how to interpret and evaluate EKGs.
