Insurance Update
As of May 2024, Science Olympiad has a new Commercial General Liability provider. Log in to view the policy number, COI request form, coverage details, and contact information.
Invitational Tournament Policy
Beginning with the 2026–2027 season, a single organization may host a maximum of two (2) Invitational Tournaments per season.
Available for sanctioned tournaments that require an additional insured certificate from the host venue.
Please note Elementary Science Olympiad tournaments are typically covered by the host school's insurance policy. Optional Science Olympiad insurance coverage is available only for approved state-sponsored ESO tournaments and must be requested at least one year in advance. Contact the National Office at (630) 792-1251 for details.

Use this medal order form to calculate quantities, costs, and fees for your tournament awards. Complete the form and submit payment by mail, purchase order, or credit card through the Science Olympiad Store. Please complete your Tournament Director Form before ordering medals. No password is required to order Invitational or Elementary Science Olympiad medals. An instructional video for trophy assembly is also available.

Food Safety Guidelines
Food Safety Policy: Only licensed food vendors may provide food at Science Olympiad events. Students, coaches, volunteers, and teams may bring food for personal consumption. Tournament Directors should also review the Beverage Alcohol Policy.

Detailing the agreement between Science Olympiad and the USOC which enables us to use the name but not any graphics or images related to the Olympiad games such as flames, rings or torches. You must adhere to the requirements of the USOC letter, and must use the words "Science Olympiad" together at all times.
